This is our Sacko Insulated Lunch Bag Review. The Sacko Insulated Lunch Bag is optimized to be able to fit all of the typical items one would need for a lunch and also keep the perishable items cold. There are various storage areas on these bags, with the largest and insulated compartment being located on the top and accessed via two zippers.
Also, there is a front zipper area to store non-perishable items as well as a side pocket (mesh on the smaller size and bungee cords on the larger size) that are perfect for sticking your water bottle. Both sizes have an adjustable overhead strap that can double as a shoulder strap as well as a carrying handle. This product comes in a variety of colors, in approximately 8 quart and 16-quart sizes, and is made of polyester, plastic, and metal.
Insulation Ability –
The insulated area of this product is pretty good and should be able to handle the requirements you need from it. Not only is the insulation thick enough, but the zippers provide a decent seal. As such, you should anticipate the cooling performance of around 6 hours on the smaller size and slightly better on the larger size. The main limitation on the 8-quart option is storage size for your cold items, and it might struggle with having enough space for more than a single person’s needs.
Mobility and Durability –
We love the design and implementation of this product. It is well-thought-out, from the easy-access top compartment to the built-in water bottle area on the side to the easy carrying mechanism. Construction is good and should hold up to typical abuse. We particularly like the bigger size option, as it is just about as mobile as the smaller size but has around twice the storage space.
Speaking of the larger size, the decision to go with bungee cords as the securing mechanism was a great idea and gives whatever items you put in it a snug fit.
Visual Appeal –
This is a great looking lunch bag. All of the various features come together really well and without looking too cluttered. The build quality is noticeable and you don’t feel like you are carrying something that is going to fall apart on you. Furthermore, there are tons of color choices that can sometimes but an issue with some of the lunch bags on the market.
Cost –
This product is in the intermediate price tier.
Overall Rating –
The Sacko Insulated Lunch Bag Review earns 3.5 out of 5 coolers. We feel that this lunch bag has some unique offerings that make it stand out. The easy-access top and implementation of the bungee cords complement its better-than-average cooling performance well. It also looks the part of a high-quality product.
