All Stanley Cooler Reviews
This is a listing of all Stanley coolers for sale that have been reviewed and we also list what we think are the best Stanley coolers with our internal ranking system. Stanley is a pretty broad company, making a wide variety of food and beverage storage products. Their most famous product is likely their thermos, which has been tried and testing for decades. They carry over this quality into their relatively small range of coolers, which can also incorporate their storied thermos into them. That being said, their offerings are on the small side and also are not soft-sided, so make sure that your storage and space needs are in check before browsing these products. However, if you are just looking for a personal cooling solution then these coolers offer a very unique approach that might work for you. If you are in the market for smaller hard-sided coolers we also encourage you to check out our reviews of Coleman coolers and Igloo coolers.

The Stanley name
As mentioned above, when you purchase a Stanley cooler you are getting a product that stands behind the Stanley name that has been tried and tested for many decades. While most people will not immediately think of their coolers and ice chests when they hear their name, we know that anything that comes out of one of their manufacturing plants will stand up to their high-quality standards. It will also come with the standard Stanley Lifetime Warranty, which goes to show how confident they are in their coolers.
One common theme of all Stanley coolers is their great mobility. They are conveniently sized for an individual or small group to store their goods for an outing but do so without taking up lots of spaces or being overly burdensome. They are also optimally sized to take advantage of the storage volume that they do have while still aiming to be as small as possible. Not only does the smaller size assist in easily carrying it, but it also makes it very simple to store this item. You shouldn’t have an issue sticking a Stanley cooler under a car seat or inside a locker, which can make them very versatile. Some of their products also come with grooved lids which are intended to house a Stanley thermos. This is not only a really original idea, but it also helps in overall mobility.
Great Ice Life for the Size
People don’t typically associate smaller coolers with having long ice life, and in most cases their assumptions are correct. Due to a combination of limited insulation that can be used along with a very small storage volume, smaller coolers can really struggle to keep items cool for more than a few hours. Stanley is attempting to break that mold in their products through their optimal use of materials and manufacturing approaches. This result in coolers that can keep items cool for a day or more, which is something to be very proud of if you sell smaller coolers. It also makes them stand out from much of their competition and opens up these products to many more applications than a simple lunch or picnic outing. You could reasonably use one of these for a longer weekend excursion or test them in a more extreme environment and know that your items will stay chilled.
A Simple Approach
Many cooler companies try to appeal to the masses by offering a wide range of color schemes and patterns for their products. In addition, they will implement a huge variety of external features that double both in functionality as well as another way to make their products aesthetically stand out from the crowd. Stanley does the exact opposite in that they keep things extremely simple. Just about all of their products will come in their famous dark green, and most will have a very simple design that isn’t adorned with various features on the outside. To some this might be a turn-off as they are looking for something more exciting but to those who aren’t concerned or are even turned off by all of the aesthetic fluff this will come as a welcome change.

An all-around decent performing cooler with acceptable ice life and construction. The lid can be a bit stubborn, however, and it would have been nice to have a few extra color choices. It is also pretty expensive. There are better coolers on the market for the price but even if you go with this one you wouldn’t be disappointed.
Pros: Nice ice life considering its size, very easy to transport, great implementation of bungee cord
Cons: We would prefer metal hardware over plastic, lid can sometimes be stubborn, pretty expensive
This is a pretty average ice box that is a bit more expensive than we would like to see given its performance. The clever design that allows for a thermos to be carried on top is a nice touch and the build quality is fine, but it is too small for many applications and the cooling performance should be better considering how much it cost for the volume it can store.
Pros: Great feature that allows thermos to be attached, looks quite classy, decent cool life
Cons: Relatively limited storage space, wish there was metal hardware used, expensive
