We want to support talented students by organizing a yearly competition in essay writing and award the winner.

If you’re a college student and skilled in writing, perhaps you can win our yearly scholarship award. This time, the essay topic is “The Sport of Fishing”. Research and write about fishing as a sport, and explain in your own words when it first appeared and how it has transformed today.  The length should be between 1,000 and 1,500 words. Pack the essay in PDF form and email it to us at [email protected] with the subject “Fishing Scholarship”.

How to apply:

Read these requirements before you apply:

• Write a 1,000-1,500-word essay on “The Sport of Fishing”. Save it as PDF (ideally) or send us the Google Doc version.
• In the email, also include:
  • The document proving you’re currently a college student
  • Your personal info (full name, phone, address)
• The deadline is October 19, 2018. The winner will be announced on October 24, 2018.

Note that, by submitting an essay, you agree that we may publish it on our website. However, your personal information is completely safe and won’t be shared.
