All Picnic Time Coolers
Last Updated by Brandon F. on January 6, 2022
This is a listing of all Picnic Time coolers for sale that have been reviewed and we also list what we think are the best Picnic Time coolers with our internal ranking system. Picnic Time is another company that primarily focuses on a picnic and outdoor-related products. While their categories are quite wide and have many items that do not fall into the cooler tier, they still have a decent selection of cooler options that can be viable in many situations and applications.
They essentially focus on soft-coolers so expect them to be more mobile and lightweight but not have the cooling life or be as durable as many of your conventional plastic or metal coolers. If you are looking for a simple, short-term solution for transporting chilled items to a park or beach then we recommend checking out some of our reviews! Also, if you are focusing on coolers that specialize in picnics and outdoor food settings we recommend that you check out our other reviews of Picnic at Ascot coolers and Picnic Plus coolers.

Surprisingly Impressive Ice Life
Picnic Time upped their ice retention levels, especially compared to much of the soft-sided picnic competition. This results in a cooling time that can last up to half of a day or even more instead of a few hours. Those extra hours open up many more possibilities and applications for these products that may be difficult or impractical with some of the less-optimized products on the market.
This is primarily accomplished through a thicker and more aggressive layer of insulation found throughout many of their products. This thicker insulation extends cooling life out to the point where you won’t be rushing to consume whatever is inside in a few hours.
This can be helpful if you plan on doing a day-long trip or are taking your picnic cooler to the beach or somewhere warm where it could be heavily exposed to the sun. Thigh high-quality materials and respected manufacturing methods are also partially to thank.
Professional Appearance
You don’t have quite the selection of diverse colors and patterns when compared to other products, but many of Picnic Time’s coolers look very professional and blend in well in a business setting. This can make them good coolers to take to work or other professional settings where you would rather blend in while eating lunch instead of standing out. This is a large contrast to some of the other picnic-oriented cooler brands that we review, as many seem to prioritize bright and busy patterns and color schemes instead of subtle ones.
Loaded with Features
We are especially impressed with the level of features that these products have. They will oftentimes have multiple pockets and categorized sections that make storing items, both chilled and non-chilled, much easier. These products have picnics in mind so you will find plenty of features to accommodate you for your next outdoor picnic.
They also carry their form of the “all in one” picnic products which will have everything you need for a small picnic and they present it in a way that is very nice looking. This is not an easy accomplishment since there can potentially be several dozen individual items that are packaged in these coolers (and this doesn’t include the food and drink items you include yourself).
Quite Mobile
Nearly all of Picnic Time’s coolers are very mobile. This is due to a combination of things. They are all relatively lightweight, which means that they are not very burdensome to lug around.
They also tend to have multiple carrying methods such as an overhead handle as well as a padded shoulder strap. Finally, they are designed in a way to stay relatively small but still have adequate room for items. This unique combination of positives results in a great product for lugging to the park or beach.

Picnic Time Pranzo Insulated Lunch Tote
This is a solid choice for someone who wants to take the effort out of their next picnic. It comes with plenty of features as well as a nice layout that gives you room for all the various items you would need. Also, it has a very attractive look. The issue is with the lack of insulated storage volume and the somewhat high asking price.
Pros: Thick insulation, high-quality materials used, awesome looking design and layout
Cons: Severely limited insulated volume, expensive
Picnic Time Turismo
Another attractive offering, the Turismo is designed for someone who needs to keep items cool and look professional while doing it. There are multiple insulated areas and plenty of spots for other items as well. And this is accomplished while being able to stay quite mobile and lightweight. But there are some quality issues, particularly related to the Velcro used and some of the stitching.
Pros: Multiple insulated areas for categorization and increased space, very mobile, professional-looking
Cons: Not waterproof, low-quality water bottle, velcro is weak
Picnic Time Insulated Cooler Picnic Tote
We love the originality in finding a way to squeeze in just about every picnic-related item you would need. The additional storage space will also come in handy. The main concern lies with how little remaining space there is for your actual chilled items. While the picnic tote does look nice, you will be severely limited in finding room for the edible items you want to bring.
Pros: Has everything you would need for a picnic, multiple carrying options, looks great
Cons: Rather pricey, may run into issues with storage space
Picnic Time Zuma Insulated Cooler Backpack
This is another cooler backpack that doesn’t inspire us because of some notable issues. While it does have pretty thick insulation that does an above-average job of keeping items cool, the available space for these items is severely lacking. There is ample space for other items, however, and they are also easy to access.
Pros: Decent insulation ability, easy to access, plenty of storage areas
Cons: Limited in insulated storage volume, somewhat flimsy, very plain looking
